Day 58: Email links

Email links should be clear and easy to understand and should indicate that they will send an email.

  • Not recommended:
    • Email the marketing  team at marketing@example.com
    • The user usually won't type the email address, so selecting the link is enough.
    • It might not be clear that selecting the link will open an email.
    • They can copy the address, if needed

Email links use mailto: instead of https://www, for example, <a href="mailto:marketing@example.com">
