Tip: Alt text on LinkedIn

When you post to LinkedIn, are you adding images? If so, they need alt text!  

How to add alt text to an image on LinkedIn:

1. Start a new post.
2. Add an image.
3. Select the ALT button.
4. Enter the alt text into the text field area.
5. Select the Add button.
6. Select the Next button to continue to post.

Tips:

• Try not to use images of text, put that text in the post.
• If the image as required text, include the included text in the image.
• If you are adding an image, it needs alt text.

• Writing alt text is a little awkward at first but once you get practiced, it becaomes second nature!.
