Dr. Peter Balan is an accredited trainer/consultant in Team-Based Learning, who has mentored educators and conducted workshops around the world. With a PhD in the field of innovation capabilities, he has collaborated to conduct research on innovation, senior entrepreneurship and management education/pedagogy.

 10:00 am - Noon  “Ensuring Student Buy-In for Pre-Learning in Flipped Team Based Learning Classes”

This session describes an introductory orientation class session that prepares and engages students to successfully participate in courses requiring pre-learning.

 

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm  “Generating Research Output from Teaching Activities”

This session describes a process that uses student evaluation data to investigate a range of constructs that are important in education and to produce academic research output.
