Bio
Liz Torres works under the general direction of Principal Investigator, Dr. Jeff Temple, to provide overall coordination of a significant multi-funded and multi-site research projects focusing on adolescent health behaviors, women’s health,
mental health, and teen parenting to name a few. Her key responsibilities include data collection and management, coordinating with partner agencies or institutions, developing reports, and project team management. Liz has previous public
health experience in health promotion, as she served as the Galveston County Coordinator for the federally funded Transforming Texas grant focusing on reducing chronic disease through active living, health eating, and tobacco-free living in
the community.
