The recommendations of this brief are developed for the consideration of UTMB leadership whose portfolios are linked to clinical data management and quality improvement. The survey collected perspectives of administrators, clinicians, researchers and students on the importance, process and impact of integrating patient data on demographic characteristics and social determinants into the electronic health record.
