• ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research In these sessions, participants took workshops on a range of introductory and advanced methodological approaches (including linear regression, categorical analysis, maximum likelihood estimation, scaling/dimensional analysis, Bayesian statistics, causal inference, and time series analysis) along with lectures that focused on fundamental mathematical skills (matrix algebra and calculus) and software applications in SPSS, SAS, Stata, and the R statistical Computing Environment. • VIReC Cyberseminars VIReC hosts several cyberseminar series to provide expert discussion and guidance on key issues related to using VA data for research.
• AcademyHealth Professional Resources ​ AcademyHealth provides information on the latest developments in the field of health services research (HSR). Resources include key online research tools from AcademyHealth and the National Information Center on Health Services Research and Health Care Technology (NICHSR).
