Center for Large Data Research and Data Sharing in Rehabilitation Welcome to CLDR Pilot Projects Pilot Program Information Pilot Project Program Information Video: Pilot Project Testimonial Pilot Project TestimonialMark Peterson, PhD, University of Michigan The CLDR's pilot studies program was designed to offer practical experience in managing, analyzing, and interpreting findings using large data analytics and secondary data analysis. All ongoing and completed studies can be viewed online. The Center provided funding in three areas: Category 1 Large Data Pilot Studies include traditional pilot studies examining a rehabilitation question using large data from a research survey, administrative, or healthcare dataset. Category 2 Data Sharing Studies involved the archiving of existing data from a completed study. Category 3 Travel Award for Secondary Data Analysis of Archived Studies provided travel awards for early career researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to present their research (using a specific dataset in the Archive of Data on Disability to Enable Policy and research repository) at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Annual Conference. Note: new projects are no longer being solicited, as we are in the final year of the federal grant. Completed studies include research examining questions using a large administrative or healthcare research dataset.
