To be recognized as a military-friendly university environment that fully acknowledges and supports the talents and experiences of all students and employee veterans and their allies.

Mission

To promote an inclusive university environment for military veterans and their allies through transition support, education, career enrichment and outreach.

Objectives

Transition – Peer-to-peer support network and veterans resources.
Education – Recognition, brown bag series and training opportunities.
Career – Career week, job fairs and recruitment efforts.
Outreach – Campus and community partnerships, veteran-centered activities and other events.

The Veterans Resource Group is open to all employees, students and volunteers at UTMB.
