UTMB Employee Biosafety Training Schedule 2018

NOTE: Dates are subject to change and confirmation of registration will be made once registration forms and pre-assessments have been completed, as needed.
UTMB offers a comprehensive training program in biosafety and proper laboratory practice to all BSL2 users for all levels of experience. If you or your PI are interested in this program, please complete the either of the following registration forms:
Principal Investigators may request group training in general biosafety or specific topics by contacting EHS x-21781.
BSL2 Theoretical classes are offered each month from 1:00 - 5:00pm in the Materials Management Warehouse (bldg. #28). Please complete the registration form and submit by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All personnel and/or students needing access to the BSL3-BSL3 Enhanced or ACL3 must complete the appropriate training and follow the check list for the facility they are needed access to. One of our experienced trainers will contact you after receipt of the forms to schedule your one-on-one training sessions.

ABSL2- ABSL3 Training
All personnel or student needing access to the ABSL3 must complete the appropriate training and follow the check list for the facility they are needed access to. One of our experienced trainers will contact you after receipt of the forms to schedule your one on one training sessions.
BSL4 Training -

All personnel or student needing to work with NHP must complete the appropriate training. One of our experienced trainers will contact you after receipt of the forms to schedule your training sessions.

CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWS
If you are a post-doctoral fellow, take the opportunity to get continuing education credit.
When you sign up for the BSL2, BSL3 or ABSL2 training program, please contact the Graduate school and sign up for the certification program at the same time.
