A Personal Note from Dr. Serrano
I was born and raised in Webster Tx and have forever called the Houston/Galveston area home. I attended the University of Houston main campus for my undergraduate studies where I focused on biology, medicine, and general health in order to presume my dream of being accepted into the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
During medical school I was allowed to learn and experience what it be like to work in different fields of medicine. I learned a lot about myself and what type of medicine I wanted to pursue, it was Family Medicine. I learned that I enjoyed working with individuals that were only hours old to those with many years of wisdom. I enjoy establishing a rapport with my patients and providing them care over the course of their lifetime. As a Family Practitioner, my goal is to provide my patients with optimum care and help to provide them with the best quality of life possible.
In my free time I enjoy exploring Galveston Island and the Houston area, finding new adventures and unique experiences. I also enjoy learning new culinary techniques and trying to find new, exciting, and delicious ways to prepare healthy dishes.
