A Personal Note from Dr. Karki
I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Himalayas, Nepal. I have lived in Fairfax, Virginia and Chicago Illinois before making Houston my new home. I earned a bachelor's degree in biology from George Mason University and a medical degree from Caribbean Medical University. I also joined Walden University for a Master's in Public Health.
I am truly blessed and privileged to be part of the UTMB Family Medicine Residency Program that champions excellence through the health and well being of patients. I look forward to the opportunity to learn under the tutelage of esteemed faculty and in hopes of making my dreams come true to reach the afflicted and to ultimately serve medical needs of the society. I aspire to be more than just a practitioner of medicine; I strive to bring skill and compassion to the field of medicine.
Besides medicine, I enjoy cooking, travelling and spending time with family.
