The Physicians for Humans Rights (PHR) student chapter is having its launch at UTMB! The goal of this organization is to create a greater culture of humanitarian concern and awareness at this UTMB. Join us as we kickoff at our first meeting Wednesday, Jan. 17th at Levin Hall 3.320 at 12 PM. Dr. Premal Patel, Associate Director of Global Health Education at UTMB, will be speaking about “Deconstructing Torture Myths” Levin Hall 3.320. We will also discuss our goals and future projects that are centered on awareness, advocacy and action.
