Call for Abstracts | Deadline: August 24, 2019, 5pm
The UTMB Center for Global & Community Health is proud to announce a call for abstracts for the 8th Annual Global Health Education Symposium – One Health to be held in Galveston, Texas on Saturday, October 12th, 2019.
We welcome abstracts from all fields involved in global health work or domestic work with underserved populations (medical, research, social sciences, public health, health professions, etc...).
Trainees (students enrolled in a degree program, Residents, Postdoctoral Fellows, Clinical Fellows) will be automatically considered for monetary Poster Awards.

Global/Local Photography Contest | Deadline: August 23, 2019
Trainees (students in any program, residents, fellows) can submit photographs that they have taken during a global health field experience in a low-income country or a local (domestic) low-resource setting. All photographs submitted must have been taken by the trainee submitting them. Only photos taken by registered attendees of the 2019 UTMB Global Health Education Symposium will be considered for contest awards.
Submission Information
Photographs must have been taken between 7/1/2018 and 8/20/2019.
