Kelley Garza serves as a Lean and Process Improvement Coordinator on the System Optimization and Performance team at UTMB. Her commitment to improving healthcare operations enables her to effectively implement and monitor project data and workflow analysis within the department.
Kelley began her career with UTMB in 2015, where she established a background in healthcare business operations and revenue cycle operations. During her career with UTMB, she worked on several ambulatory and surgical lean projects.
Kelley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management and a Master of Health Information Management from Texas State University. During her time at Texas State University, Kelley was certified as a Registered Health Information Technician and certified in project management.
Fun fact: Kelley loves to cook, bake, and barbeque! Her and her family have an award-winning barbecue team and compete annually against hundreds of teams from all around the state.
