What is the best thing about your job?

The sense of fulfillment knowing that I am part of a great team that heals. It is gratifying to be able to help patients and their families navigate through one of life’s challenges.

Who are your heroes?

My parents are my true heroes. They sacrificed a lot for my education and helped get me to a place where I am today. They paved my way to have a successful and meaningful future. I grew up in a strict household placing importance on education. I hated their ways back then, but today I appreciate them for what they have done.

What is your favorite quote?

I always live by the golden rule. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is my favorite quote. I always heard it from my mother growing up.

What is your life like outside work?

I usually spend my time reading books, historical novels, self-help books. My favorite authors are Judith McNaught and Julie Garwood.  I love to read. I also watch crime and detective shows, like “Law and Order” and “FBI” I dog sit my huge German Shepherd named Wingo.
