We are living and making history at UTMB as we respond to this life changing pandemic and we want to make sure we capture the stories of how we responded through our Rise and Shine initiative. Read more about it in the
Galveston County Daily News.
We want to hear your voice. The UTMB RISE and Shine project would
like to record your experience and share your first-hand knowledge with
students to help them understand and respect the roles and
responsibilities of your profession as it relates to this pandemic.
Please take a few moments and, at your comfort level, record your
thoughts and experiences as it relates to working as a health
professional in this pandemic. It can be in the form of a text, a
written paper, a short video, a picture with a caption or simply bullet
answers.
Please share your own words, but if you need some prompts, here are a
few questions you may considering answering:
- What is your
profession?
- Explain your role and responsibilities
- Do you work in a
team with professions different that yours?
- What is it like working
on a team?
- How important is teamwork to health outcomes?
- How
important is it have interprofessional education as part of training?
