On May 9th and 10th, 2022, IBHH Assistant Professor Dr. Stephen Molldrem participated in a two-day consultation on US domestic molecular HIV surveillance (MHS) and cluster detection and response (CDR) programs, which are a key pillar of the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative launched in 2019. The meeting was convened by the Stigma and Disparities Subcommittee of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA), which is an advisory body to the US Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). Dr. Molldrem has previously published on the ethics of these programs in The American Journal of Bioethics.
