The UTMB Health Institute for the Medical Humanities would like to congratulate the Institute students, faculty, and staff who were among the recipients of the 2011 UTMB Health Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) Scholarship Awards.
Alina Bennett was awarded the Chester R. Burns Institute for the Medical Humanities Alumni Award. Ms. Bennett was also awarded the Medical Humanities Endowed Scholarship.
Rimma Osipov was awarded the David C. Eiland, Jr. Scholarship Award in Health Care and Humanities.
Andrew Childress was awarded the William Bennett Bean Scholarship in the Medical Humanities.
Krisann Muskievicz and Jiin-Yu Chen were awarded the Shirley and Albert E. Sanders, MD Presidential Scholarship Fund.
Julie Kutac was awarded the Sjoerd Steunebrink Scholarship Endowment.
Faculty member Anne Hudson Jones, PhD received a Teaching Excellence Award, and Institute staff member, Donna Vickers, received the Program Coordinator Award.
