Our lab’s research involves trying to understand the genetic and environmental basis of mosquito – pathogen interactions. We aim to identify the genetic basis and molecular mechanisms underlying mosquito susceptibility to pathogens, as well as understanding the role that the mosquito microbiome plays in mosquito susceptibility to pathogens.
