Division: Endocrinology
Department: Internal Medicine

Dr. Choudhary is a young enthusiastic scientist with extensive experience working in the field of diabetic complications. His research has focused on understanding the role of inflammation, in general, and NF-κB inducing kinase (NIK), an inflammatory MAP kinase, in particular in diabetic complications. He is exploring novel role of NIK in diabetic nephropathy and insulin resistance. Currently, Dr Choudhary's research is focused on exploring the protective role of anti-aging hormone, Klotho in restricting diabetes-induced renal inflammation using latest biochemical and molecular biology approaches. In addition to research, Dr. Choudhary is actively involved in teaching medical and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
