The Sealy Center on Aging kicked off the 24th Annual Lefeber Winter Series on Aging on Tuesday, January 29th. Approximately 120 people
were in attendance including members of the community as well as UTMB students, faculty, and staff. The first lecture was entitled, “Mitochondrial Energetics and Insulin Resistance in Aging” by Bet H. Goodpaster, PhD from Florida Hospital in Orlando.
