SCI Cafe: Lungs in Space - April 19

UTMB’s Center in Environmental Toxicology, the Institute for Translational Sciences and the Sealy Center for Environmental Health & Medicine invite you to participate in a conversation about Lungs in Space at Mod Coffeehouse in downtown Galveston (2126 Post Office St.) on Thurs., April 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This conversation features UTMB's Dr. Joan E. Nichols, associate director, Galveston National Laboratory and professor, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases; and Dr. Joaquin Cortiella, director, Lab of Tissue Engineering & Organ Regeneration, and professor, Department of Anesthesiology. Please join us as we explore and discuss the current knowledge and research revolving around the topic of Lungs in Space.

SCI Café is a community dialogue about science, health and possibilities among community members, researchers and scientists. The purpose is to engage and connect community members with science and science with the local community. Topics for SCI Cafés are driven by community learning interests and discovery from UTMB faculty.
