Volunteers Needed for SHP Causeway Fund Run/Walk

The School of Health Professions (SHP) at UTMB Health is reviving the SHP CAUSEWAY FUND RUN/WALK and is seeking committee volunteers to help make this inaugural event a huge success! Save-the-Date for Saturday, March 2, 2013.

How can you help? By providing your time, energy and community contacts to help us secure sponsorship support to make this event the school’s premier annual fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting SHP student scholarships.

Why a fundraising event? Scholarships are competitive awards that help us recruit and recognize our best students and ensure that financial concerns do not become impediments to students’ educational ambitions.

The School of Health Professions is dedicated to educating health professions students and has been charged with doubling student enrollment by the end of the decade. At this critical juncture in Texas health care, we turn to all those who share a kinship with the School of Health Professions; the thousands of alumni who have passed through our doors, the leaders in the many communities who depend on our exceptional graduates, and the organizations who embrace our commitment to the future of health care.

We hope you will consider joining this worthwhile cause and investing in the future of our health care professionals. We do hope we can count on your support!
