LGBTQ+ Pride Month Events - June 19 & 30
The Diversity Council will be hosting two events in June in recognition of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Both will take place in the Old Red Amphitheatre. A flier is available for posting in your area at the below link.
- The first Brown Bag event will feature Distinguished Guest Speaker, Dr. Michael Kauth, director for the LGBT Health Program for the Veterans Health Administration’s Office of Patient Care Services in Washington, D.C. Dr. Kauth will be discussing “The Current State of Affairs of LGBT Healthcare.” This event will be held on June 19, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- The second Brown Bag event is a panel discussion titled, “What it is like to be an LGBTQ+ Student and/or Employee.” This event will be held on June 30, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
