Delivered to Sample Management within 1 hours of collection.  Store specimen tube at room temperature.

Specimen Preparation:

 

Centrifuge the specimen prior to analysis to remove possible cellular and bacterial contaminants within 1 hour.

Stability:

Room temperature for ≤2 days. Do not store refrigerated  or frozen 

Causes for Rejection:

Specimen too viscous for sampling,  refrigerated specimen, incomplete and/or incorrect sample identification, improper
