24-hour Urine - Discard early morning specimen; start timing from this point. Collect all urine for the next 24 hours, including sample voided at the same time the next morning. Note the time of the last collection on the request form. 2 liter brown plastic jug or glass tube without any additives. Random Specimen - 10 mL yellow topped tube or plastic specimen cup with tight-fitting lid. (Min: 7 mL of urine) |
