Collection:

30 mL of random urine.  Urine container. (Min.: 1mL of urine).

Storage/Transport:

Room temperature if delivered to Sample Management within 1 hours of collection, or refrigerated if > 1 hours.

Specimen Preparation:

Refrigerate specimen within 1 hour of collection.

Stability:

Refrigerated for ≤ 7 days.

Causes for Rejection:

Specimen collected in container with a preservative, incomplete and/or incorrect sample identification, and improper storage/transport.
