Note: | Myco/F lytic blood culture vial is also recommended to collect for optimal recovery of organisms. See Fungal Blood Culture for information KOH prep is not routinely performed on these specimen types due to low sensitivity. Antifungal susceptibility is performed when yeast is isolated. |
