  • My research interests revolve around the complex interplay of diabetes and aging. In particular, I am interested in 1) how diabetes accelerates normal senescent processes, 2) medical interventions for diabetics to prevent the development of excessive morbidity with age, and 3) the prevention of mobility loss in elderly diabetics.
