Mission-Critical: Conversations on the Future of Improving Health

The 2019 Mondays in March program will be a series of panel discussions, featuring UTMB leaders at the forefront of guiding our institution in an era of rapid and significant change.  

The sessions—which will take place March 4, March 11, March 18 and March 25—begin at noon in Levin Hall Auditorium on the Galveston Campus. Can’t be there in person? Remote viewing options will be available, and all sessions will be recorded and posted to this site.

    We kicked off the 2019 Mondays in March series with a session covering how academic health science centers do business and what is driving the tremendous changes we and our counterparts are facing. Learn why we’re pursuing more partnerships and hear about the steps we’re taking to ensure we have the capacity in our programs and facilities to respond to—and drive—changes that improve health.

How are we working to provide the support our faculty need to drive progress in their respective fields? How does the evolving landscape inform our approach to research? How do we maintain our legacy of discovery in a challenging funding environment?
