GALVESTON, Texas - Finding balance in life and defining success as an attitude are among the topics to be discussed at the Circle of Life Women's Forum planned for Saturday, April 14, at First United Methodist Church in Dickinson, 200 FM 517 West. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"This is a gathering of women of many ages - baby boomers and older women alike," said Tia McCurdy, community education specialist with Senior Services at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, sponsor of the forum.

Topics include "Playbook on Aging," James Goodwin, M.D., UTMB; "Women's Health... The Hormone Connection," Mary Claire Haver, M.D., UTMB; "Options and Opportunities... Can Plastic Surgery Benefit You?," Linda Phillips, M.D., UTMB; "The Balancing Act," Carole Ashendorf, Baylor College of Medicine; "Success is an Attitude," Elizabeth Protas, Ph.D., UTMB; and "Interior Growth and Significance Seeking," the Rev. Helen W. Appelberg, UTMB.
