65th Annual National Student Research Forum

April 20th, 2024

We are excited to host the forum this year at the University of Texas Medical Branch campus in Galveston, TX! The National Student Research Forum is organized and run by students for the discussion of student research papers in a scientific atmosphere. Please see below for more details on this year’s forum.

Dear Doctors, Friends, and Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to submit your abstracts to the 65th Annual National Student Research Forum (NSRF) on April 20th, 2024, in Galveston, Texas! Since its inception in 1960, the NSRF has grown from a small regional meeting to a nationally respected assembly of young scientists featuring over 200 presentations by researchers from throughout the U.S. and internationally.

The NSRF is a meeting organized with the aim of advancement and recognition of the accomplishments of young researchers in the basic sciences, clinical sciences, and medical humanities. The NSRF offers an excellent opportunity for participants to receive review and recognition of their research by their peers and established scientists and undergo consideration for multiple awards.

Students are invited to submit abstracts of their unpublished works before the oral presentation submission deadline of March 9th, 2024, and the poster presentation deadline of March 23rd, 2024. This year’s forum will also feature an Osler Essay Contest with a submission deadline of March 23rd, 2024.

Please utilize the Abstract Submission Form tab on the sidebar of this webpage to submit your abstracts. On the submission form, please indicate whether you would like your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation exclusively, a poster presentation exclusively, or as both an oral and poster presentation.

We are hopeful that you will join us to recognize the research accomplishments of the clinicians and scientists of the future at the 65th Annual National Student Research Forum! The University of Texas Medical Branch provides primary funding for the Forum. For any questions or concerns, please email nsrf.galveston@utmb.edu.
