Summer STEM Camp
for 8th and 9th Grade Students

Camp Information

Fun-filled, hands-on activities and problem-solving puzzles stimulate increased knowledge and skills in science, engineering, technology and math!

Participants may perform activities such as:

  • Solve mysteries using forensics techniques
  • Investigate environmental health issues
  • Engage in mock clinical diagnoses
  • Design and fabricate engineering marvels!
  • And MUCH MORE!!


Eligibility

  • Participants must be 14 years of age by June 3, 2019 to be eligible for camp participation.
  • There is no charge for program participation.
  • New activities are planned! Prior Camp participants may apply!

    June 3 - June 14, 2019 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (NOTE: Change to full day program.)


    How to Apply

    Applications open between March 22-April 19th, 2019

    Application deadline: 11:59:59 PM Friday, April 19, 2019

    You must complete and submit the online application, as well as the supporting documentation, by 11:59:59 PM Friday, April 19, 2019.

    The required documentation includes the Participation Agreement, Parental Consent Form, a copy of the applicant’s most recent report card, and the Teacher Recommendation Forms. Incomplete/late applications will NOT be considered.

    Following committee review of the completed applications and required documentation, notification of status will be e-mailed to the applicant’s reported e-mail address On May 8, 2019. We will not supply any admission information early or by phone. Summer STEM Camp is a competitive program. Submission of documentation does not guarantee acceptance.
