Janie would fall into the moderately ill category.  It would be helpful to also have a Peak Expiratory Flow Reading to compare to Janie’s personal best, or what is normal for her age.
 

Nebulized albuterol

Oxygen. Remember, you must specifically request it with the neb treatment if you want it.

Oral steroids

Reassess after initial management, including oxygen saturation on room air if improved.
