Faculty Opportunities


Since 2009, the UTMB Professionalism Committee has sponsored faculty members attending the course, "Addressing Behaviors that Undermine a Culture of Safety" at the Vanderbilt Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy. Most recently, the following faculty have attended:

  • Dr. Chuck Mathers Attends Vanderbilt Course re: Professionalism

    Dr. Charles Mathers, Senior Aviation Medical Examiner and a member of the Professionalism Commttee, recently attended the Promoting Professionalism Course hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is happy that UTMB has taken the issue of professionalism seriously.
  • Dr. Olugbenga Ojo Attends Vanderbilt Course re: Professionalism

    Dr. Olugbenga Ojo is the latest member of the UTMB Faculty to attend the Vanderbilt course entitled, Promoting Professionalis: Addressing Behaviors that Undermine a Culture of Safety, Reliability, and Accountability.
  • Dr. Anish Bhardwaj Attends Vanderbilt Course re: Professionalism

    Dr. Anish Bhardwaj previously attended the Vanderbilt course. When he met with the Professionalism Committee he said, "... the experience provided unique insights into the importance of promoting professionalism in our workplace among all stakeholders and associates and is in keeping with the mission, vision, and values of UTMB.
