The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston offers a two-year
ACGME accredited residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Essential
skills and knowledge are emphasized with a wide range of clinical
experience and seminars. In addition to the inpatient, outpatient and consultation services, rotations include
school based mental health clinics, juvenile justice, pediatric neurology
and telepsychiatry. Various special opportunities exist
and the faculty encourages residents to pursue their interests.
