New Article on Using Big Data to Understand Care for Hip Fractures

A multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, and data scientists looked at hip fractures. Using a visual analytical method Suresh K Bhavnani, PhD and team were able to identify subgroups of patients with hip fractures who shared pre-existing conditions and map out how combinations of these conditions could lead to a higher risk of readmissions.
