On Tuesday, February 26, at noon, Dr. Randall Urban, Chief Research Officer, hosted the second of his newly instituted Research Quarterly Updates in the South Auditorium at Levin Hall.  In addition to providing information on what his office is doing, Dr. Urban asked others to share how they could help members of the research enterprise.  The 165+ people in attendance were informed by Dr. Deborah Jones, Dean and Sr. Vice President, School of Nursing (SON), that research in the SON will be elevated through extramural funding and publications.  

Raul Reyes, Marketing & Communications, shared how researchers and those involved in research can work with marketing to increase their visibility and presence in social media.

The first section was followed by updates from various service departments advising of upcoming changes that could affect the research community. This presentation was followed by Dr. Brett Howrey, Vice Chair of Research, Family Medicine presenting kudos to various members of the Research community including STAR Award recipient, Shannon Samuelson, Family Medicine.
