University of Texas System Health Biobank Now Available

Dec 19, 2019, 10:31 AM by Melodi Moore
The University of Texas System Health Biobank (UTSHB) Consortium is an initiative by The University of Texas System Administration Office of Health Affairs.  The initiative is designed to raise awareness of biospecimens and related data consented for sharing across UT institutions as well as to facilitate the exchange of biospecimens and related data.  The UTSHB Consortium also provides a set of standard operating procedures, a definition of common data elements used in the system, an informed consent template, and a REDCap template.  In addition, a biobank maturity model is currently being finalized and will be made available via the UTSHB Consortium website soon.
