Abbott provides grants for programs related to cardiac arrhythmia, electrophysiology, heart failure, coronary, structural heart, vascular and neuromodulation therapies.

AstraZeneca Foundation Connections for Cardiovascular Health (CCH)
Align research to one of six identified approaches to improve cardiovascular health at the community level. The six innovative approaches are:
- Leveraging access for uninsured and underserved participants to improve cardiovascular knowledge and health
- Bringing programs to participants
- Educating children to serve as heart health ambassadors
- Improving cardiovascular health through food-based programs
- Using health coaches/promotors to improve cardiovascular health
- Providing culturally sensitive program interventions to maximize participant outcomes

Society for Vascular Surgery Community Awareness & Prevention Project Grant
Intended to help vascular surgeons conduct community-based projects that address emerging issues in vascular health, wellness, and disease prevention. These projects will emphasize patient education, risk assessment and advance awareness of vascular health.

IB Product Development
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation seeks to accelerate the development of products that aim to improve the quality of life of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases. Toward that end, the Foundation has launched IBD Ventures, a new program and dedicated funding mechanism to support product-oriented research and development. Companies and academic investigators can apply. Funding up to $500,000 per project per year will be considered. In addition, funded programs will be offered accelerator resources and advising.

This grant that supports an independent research study where the investigator or organization is the sponsor of the study and where Pfizer provides financial and/or non-financial support for the development or refinement of specific and defined medical knowledge relating to a Pfizer asset. This global program is open to all researchers who are interested in conducting their own research. This grant type is used as support for pre-clinical and clinical studies (including interventional and non-interventional), that involve a Pfizer asset (e.g., commercial drug, investigational drug, pure compound*).

U.S.-Japan Cooperative Medical Sciences Program Collaborative Awards, 2020
CRDF Global is accepting proposals from joint U.S., Japan and other regional Asia-Pacific (APac) based investigators working in the field of infectious disease and immunology research for the U.S.-Japan Cooperative Medical Sciences Program (USJCMSP) Collaborative Awards 2020. The purpose of the USJCMSP collaborative awards is to foster new or expanded infectious disease and immunology focused biomedical research collaborations between researchers in Japan, the APac region, and U.S. investigators and institutions. Proposals should focus on questions of direct relevance to the APac region that will add to global knowledge about viral diseases.

NIH BRAIN Initiative: Biology and Biophysics of Neural Stimulation and Recording Technologies (R01 Clinical Trials Optional)
This RFA accepts grant applications in two related but distinct areas. The first is to systematically characterize, model, and validate the membrane, cellular, circuit, and adaptive-biological responses of neuronal and non-neuronal cells to various types of stimulation technologies. The second is to understand the biological and bioinformatic content of signals recorded from neuronal and non-neuronal cells and circuits. Development of new technologies, therapies and disease models is outside the scope of this FOA. Activities related to enabling the simultaneous use of multiple recording or stimulation technologies are allowed.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society Research Grants
Studies related to multiple sclerosis that may serve to advance our mission of stopping MS progression, restoring function and improving quality of life, and preventing MS. The Society supports fundamental as well as applied studies, non-clinical or clinical in nature, including projects in patient management, care and rehabilitation.

Women’s Health and Aging
Buck Institute Grant for Research on Female Reproductive Aging
With the establishment of the Center for Reproductive Longevity and Equality (CRLE) at the Buck Institute, we’ve pioneered the first facility that focuses solely on female aging as it relates to equality. Now, in collaboration with the Bia-Echo Foundation, the Global Consortium for Reproductive Longevity and Equality (GCRLE) is soliciting applications from investigators worldwide for two-year projects focused broadly on understanding female reproductive aging. The goal of this initiative is to foster truly bold, innovative scientists with the potential to transform the field. Applicants are encouraged in the basic biological sciences relevant to understanding mechanisms of female reproductive aging from development through menopause. Funding mechanisms include senior scholar awards, junior scholar awards, pilot awards, and postdoctoral fellowships.
Senior Scholar Awards - two-year projects that will support established investigators who are thought leaders in their respective fields and are recognized for substantial contributions of creative and productive research to pursue substantive, innovative research in female reproductive aging.
Junior Scholar Awards - two-year projects that will support early career investigators with outstanding promise when they are establishing their own labs.
Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards - two-year projects that will support exceptional young scientists at the beginning of their postdoctoral training in the area of female reproductive aging, broadly defined.
Pilot Awards - two-year pilot projects to foster innovative collaborative or novel research projects in female reproductive aging that have the potential for high impact and high reward at an accelerated rate. These awards will allow collection of preliminary data to apply for larger grants and we encourage applications to fund novel collaborative cross-discipline projects, with an emphasis on projects that establish novel collaborations.
