In her first Blog post, on her first day on the job as the Executive Director of PCORI, Nakela Cook, MD, MPH, talks about her vision for the future of the organization.  ..."now is the time for audacious, innovative, and courageous action;  the opportunities are ours to seize"... is Dr. Cook's first order of business.  She points out that the past decade of accomplishment, coupled with a 10-year reauthorization of funding, PCORI has a bright future.

From the $50 million for COVID-19 related research to looking ahead of the COVID emergency, Dr. Cook is looking forward to collaborating with all involved in the PCORI community.
