Now in its 25th year, the Lefeber Winter Series on Aging features nationally recognized gerontology research educators, basic scientists, clinicians and social scientists.  Each speaker presents a lecture on an important aspect of aging research and consults with students, faculty, and staff on research topics, grant applications and articles being written for publication. The lecture series is open to the general public and attracts a number of seniors and healthcare providers from the Galveston community, in addition to UTMB scientists and providers. A reception follows each one-hour lecture.
