NEEDED: Qiagen RNA extraction kits

Mar 18, 2020, 14:53 PM by Melodi Moore

Dr. Mouton has asked Andrew McNees to poll the research community to determine if there are any Qiagen RNA extraction kits on hand that could be set aside should they be needed to support SARS-CoV-2 testing in the clinical laboratory.  The supplier is ramping up production, but they are in very short supply commercially.

The specific kits are:
QIAmp DSP Viral RNA Mini Kit and/or QIAmp Viral RNA Mini Kit.

If you have any of these kits on-site, please contact Andrew McNees amcnees@utmb.edu
