Guidance for Researchers in the face of Galveston County Stay-at-Home Order

Mar 24, 2020, 17:26 PM by Melodi Moore
The Galveston County Stay-at-Home order becomes effective at 11:59 pm March 24.  As per the order medical research is considered an essential Healthcare Operation. Because this situation is fluid and can quickly change, UTMB is taking the following actions to safeguard current research and resources.  The Provost and Chief Research Offices have worked together to provide guidance to the research community affected by this order.  The guidance can be on the COVID-19 Research Update webpage,

Researchers will also find resources such as a Laboratory Shutdown Checklist and a Stay at Home Research Inventory form. These both provide important information as we prepare to manage this public health crisis going forward.
