Guidance for Institutional Letters of Support Request added to Research Resources

Due to recent discussions regarding the correct procedure for acquiring and adding Institutional Letters of Support to applications, the Office of the Chief of Research has issued new guidelines. Included in these guidelines:

Requests for Institutional Letters of Support must be submitted to Dr. Andrew McNees at least 30 days prior to the submission deadline;
Requests need to include items that address how the proposal will align with the university’s research strategic plan. Details are included.
