Research Services Offers Single Contact Email for Terminal Exit

Those leaving the University must complete the HR Employee Exit checklist. This checklist contains clearances from four departments listed under the Research Services umbrella. These are:

Office of Clinical Research (OCR)
Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP)
Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC)

As many employees are working remotely in these offices, Research Services is offering the opportunity to get these clearances through a single email contact.

If you are leaving the university or are a department representative assisting someone with the terminal exit process, please send the request for clearance to ResearchOffice@utmb.edu. The request will then be sent to all four (4) offices and clearance will be emailed from each office directly to the requestor for their records. Questions about this new procedure can also be emailed to this email address.
