Nov 5, 2021, 12:43 PM by Melodi Moore

The UTMB Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) has started a newsletter to publicize their activities, accomplishments and research .  They are encouraging interested parties to sign up to receive these newsletters.

The inaugural edition includes a video article announcing that the CVP has been chosen by The American Public Health Association (APHA) as a 2021 ‘APHA Thought Leader.’   Another article highlights Dr. Shannon Guillot-Wright's receiving a K01 career development award from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health for a 3-year study of migrant health and labor policies.  Readers will also learn about new funding, media mentions and more.

It is always exciting when UTMB research and the activities around that research are publicized in a provoking and energizing medium.  An easy-to-use SUBSCRIBE button can be found on the top left corner of the newsletter.
