Three resource cores offer support for basic science research, clinical trials, and biostatistical data analysis. Our team consists of four trained lab technicians, eight clinical research coordinators, and seven biostatisticians/data analysts.

Choose the Metabolism and Biology Resource Core if you need assistance with biorepository, mass spectrometry, metabolic monitoring, immunofluorescent microscopy, cell culture, cell signaling, high-resolution respirometry, metabolic phenotyping, transgenic mouse models, mouse functional testing, or study design.

Choose the Clinical Research Resource Core for regulatory support, subject recruitment/retention, and standardized testing such as phone screening, in-person screening, in-hospital screening, strength testing, functional assessment, clinical history & physical, body composition, muscle biopsies, adipose tissue biopsies, skin biopsies, activity monitoring, cognitive testing, or nutritional assessments.
