Research Interests

Instructional technologies, healthcare management, problem-based learning, improving the internship process for health services students that will better facilitate matriculation into area hospitals and other healthcare-based organizations.

Biography

Dr. Frank P. Ward Jr. received his EdD in Higher Education Administration from George Washington University, his MSA in Management/ Administration from Central Michigan University and is BS in Medical Science from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Ward has a clinical background having practiced as a physician assistant, an administrative background as a hospital administrator, and has been involved in higher education for the last 20 years.

Dr. Ward is retired from the United States Navy and had numerous duty stations in the United States and abroad. During his career, Dr. Ward worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, professional and education training commands, and completed his career at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
