Biography

Adama Brooks, OTD, OTR is an Assistant Professor of Instruction and Fieldwork Coordinator for the Department of Occupational Therapy and School of Health Professions at University of Texas Medical Branch. She received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and her Post-Professional OTD degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Ms. Brooks has clinical experience in adult and geriatric acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and home health settings. She is also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Texas Occupational Therapy Association, and The Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity.
